Designer and dressmaker R. Brooke Priddy draws from a background in performance and fine art to imbibe her original and one-of-a-kind clothing designs with a life of their own. Using inflatable garments, deep-sea runways and aerialists, she takes her gowns and their spectators out of their traditional runway and store setting, and into a realm of living sculpture. Her private studio and storefront is located in west Asheville, North Carolina–where she holds custom design appointments, fittings and does her own in-house production.
